Is Downtown safe?
According to the Santa Fe Police Department, Downtown Santa Fe is a very safe place! Because of the historic importance of the Plaza area, SFPDA has as a special Bike Patrol and Public Safety unit patrolling the area.

Where do I park?
There are more than 2000 parking spaces in garages and lots in Downtown Santa Fe. On-street metered parking is also available throughout Downtown and metered parking is free after 6 pm. So while parking is abundant, it’s not always easy to find if you don’t know where to look. To help, visit our Parking page to locate garages and lots near your destination.

Are there public Restrooms available?
The closest public restrooms on the Plaza are on the Water street Parking Lot and in the Convention Center.

How do I get more Information?
Next to the First National Bank you can find a Tourist booth with all kind of helpful information about Downtown, the Plaza and Santa Fe. The Santa Fe Convention Center, 2 blocks away, also offers a large selection of information for you to take home.

How do I find out what is playing on the Bandstand?
OUTSIDE IN Productions brings free live music, dance and other artistic presentation to the bandstand during the summer. The concert series starts on June 23. For more information check their website at
